Three recent events have scared us and given us the impression that if we make it back to the U.S. without being sold to some creepy old man then we will be lucky.
1. the E! investigates series on kidnapping.
2.Changeling (this movie made Emily get in touch with her maternal side and ripped out our emotions, it was that powerful. If you have a heart or think you may have a heart, do not go see it.)
3. Everybody is telling us about fake cabs, underground slave trade is apparently a big deal, and scaring us in general.
Normal people would be aware and cautious. We are terrified and have created a band called "Human Trafficking"
This is a eruo band that was created around the dinner table at the Duncan's house. Katie is the lead singer, she wispers poetry to the techno beat Emily creates on her electric blue keytar. Be on the lookout for our ep "Sold Into Slavery" including the hit singles:
"Stop that Cab" featuring Johanna Sawatski on the recorder, "Where is this man taking me?","Should I call you Master?," "Breaking the Shackles,""Untie my hands and Free My Heart," a cover of Britany Spears "Im A SLVE 4U," and "You don't have to buy me, my love don't cost a thing."
But really, human trafficking is a real problem. Check out madebysurvivors.com.
